Kelp noodles are so easy to use. Many health food stores are starting to carry them. Most are located in the refrigerated section. This week I picked up a bag from my local health food store that is super easy to use-so easy that you won’t even believe it.
I ended up choosing a Green Tea flavour by accident. However they turned out fine. The package actually has several recipes on the back or you can make your own raw creations. Kelp noodles are a great addition to your menu. They are fast and nutritious. The package states ” Not only do you get a great noodle that’s raw, gluten-free, rice-free, and full of trace minerals, you also get the added benefits of the powerful anti-oxidants found in green tea”.
I shredded some carrots. Aren’t they pretty they are multi-coloured and I just love how fun they are. Then left over collard greens and broccoli.
I opted to made an Asian style raw dressing with almond butter, lime juice, coconut aminos and some ginger. I poured this over the freshly washed kelp noodles and let it sit for about 45 minutes. The more you let it sit in the sauce the better the flavour gets.
This was the first time my daughter had tried kelp noodles. I am so lucky that she is so willing to try everything.
